HOW TO SUBMIT

GENERAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submissions to cattails must be sent by email only. Submissions must be placed in the body of the email — attachments will not be read. See the "definitions" page for full information by genre'.

Please submit only works that have never been previously published elsewhere, either online or in print, (this includes on social media sites, blogs, and websites), see the referenced hyper-links below: (click on the Number)

(1) "Is work considered previously published if I post it on a blog, Web site, large social-networking site, or online literary journal?"
"If you’ve posted your writing on any of the above sites, it is generally considered previously published".

(2) "Published means", "Presented to the public".

In addition, works must not be simultaneously submitted elsewhere, nor entered in any competition at the time sent to us, within the time it takes to receive a response from our editors, or during the pre-publish time-period. It is also the responsibility of a submitter to guarantee that all work is 'your' copyrighted material, and that any collaborations are with the prior permission of all involved parties, are without Copyright issues, and that "first credits" are noted.

We encourage you to submit your works in your native language, along with the English version.
One submission per reading period of:

Members of the editorial team will acknowledge your submission within a week of receipt. Final acceptances or rejections will be sent once the final selections are complete. If you happen to experience a delay, please contact the principal editor, Sonam, at allthingshaibun@gmail.com


Work is selected on content and merit only according to our submission guidelines. It is never selected just so a theme, thread, or publishing order can be arranged by the editors.

Submissions sent before the two submission periods will not be read and will be discarted.

The first Issue of cattails will appear:  April 2017.
